Founder - Robert Makra
Robert Makra is the founder of BE Labs, a consultancy dedicated to applying behavioral economics and decision science to commercial strategy and sales effectiveness. With over 20 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Robert equips organizations to influence ethically, sell more effectively, and navigate complex, high-stakes markets with confidence.
He holds an MBA from The Open University and two advanced certifications in Organizational Development and Applied Psychology from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland. His executive education spans world-class institutions, including the London School of Economics (Behavioral Economics), Columbia Business School (Digital Strategy), Cornell University (Marketing Strategy), INSEAD (Digital Marketing), MIT (Innovation), and IDEO (Prototyping for Digital Experiences).
Prior to founding BE Labs, Robert built and led sales teams, scaled commercial initiatives, and launched companies in wholesales and workplace health promotion. His approach blends strategy, behavioral science, and frontline insight—designed to unlock better decisions and measurable impact.
Robert also serves as an examiner for the Swiss Federal Diploma in Pharmaceutical Consultancy and actively volunteers with Swiss Volunteers, supporting events like downhill races and ultra marathons.
